An application's table page: it shows the records and lets you find the ones
you're after with filters, sort them and take them to Excel.
Search and sort
Filter: add one or more filters; each is a field, a condition and a value,
like "Priority is High". With several, all of them must hold. On an options
field you pick the value from its list, and on a relation you pick the record.
Sort: click a column's header. Another click flips the order, and a third
removes it.
Change page: with the pager at the bottom.
Try it with this sample data:

Export to Excel
Export CSV, beside the filters, downloads every record that matches the
filters, not just the page you see, in the current order and with the values as
the table shows them. The file opens fine in Excel, accents and all.
Totals
When setting up the table you can put at the foot of each number column its
sum, average, minimum or maximum. They're worked out over every
record matching the filters, so they change as you filter. A record without a
number doesn't count for the average, minimum or maximum. The exported file ends
with a row of totals.
Import from Excel
Import CSV brings records in from a file, like one saved from Excel. It
works like this:
Pick the file. Each column is matched to the field with the same label or
name; you can change it or leave it out.
Check the preview. If a row has a problem, like an empty required field or a
value that isn't on the list, it says which and on what line of the file.
Import. Nothing is saved while any row has a problem: either they all go
in, or none does.
A few handy details:
On an options field, the cell can hold the label or the value.
On a checkbox, yes, sí, true, 1 or x count as checked.
On a relation, the cell holds the record's full name. Several, separated by
commas.
A file exported from the same table can be imported back.
Up to 1000 rows at a time. Text, email, phone, number, date, options,
checkbox, relation and user fields are imported; not files or lists of several
values.
Only whoever may add records sees Import CSV.
Good to know
Fields with several values (like multi text or checkbox set) and files can't be
filtered.
